Cloverfield Statue Of Liberty

Finally, this is my Cloverfield Statue Of Liberty model I started doing a while ago and is finally finished. (I actually finished this a month ago, but am posting this now.)

After seeing the Cloverfield in theather I thought that it would be cool to get a statue like the one seen in the posters and the movie to sit in my shelf. After a while of an unsuccessful search trough the internet stores I was faced with the fact that no product such like that exsist.
Then I figured that I could make one by myself... This time from eBay I did found something useful, a nice plastic Lindberg statue of liberty set, which suited my needs perfectly.

I carved the figure with knife into good shape (to simulate the damage which the Statue had). After that came the paint job. A quick base paint, and on top that came some green model paint. I used Games workshop paints when making this.

The pictures are taken with camera phone so the quality isn't best possible. I tried to get as smooth as possible lighting, but I ended getting some shine on the statue.
(The backdrop in first image is simply a printed Cloverfield poster from which I erased the statue with Photoshop.)

Well, that's it, It's now finished. Not much else to say.
